Creator Economy v. Distractor Economy
For whatever reason, the “Creator Economy” has been in the “news” lately.
For the uninitiated, the Creator Economy refers to all the “creators” making “news” via social media, newsletters, and publishing platforms. The content they make drives revenue through subscriptions, ads, sponsorships, merch, etc., depending on the publishing platform(s) the maker chooses to use.
