Yoni Rechtman (Slow Ventures + twitter) goes deep on the Growth Buyout (“GBO”), the fund’s newest venture thesis (albeit, not a name they coined, as Yoni will tell you).

In general, Slow Ventures is thinking hard about what Venture Capital ought to look like in this brave new world.

GBO is a very interesting idea, with the tagline “It’s time to buy,” (a riff on the a16z declaration “It’s the time to build.”)

Anyways, I learned a lot, have much to think about, and always appreciate a thoughtful approach to the product-market fit of capital allocation.

Just watch it (on 1.5x speed, as all video is intended to be watched).
