Just a few short vignettes.
OpenAI running away from the field
Again, from Ramp’s spending data, which is the LLM to rule them all?1
For now, it seems like OpenAI:
At 27%, OpenAI owns the largest share of business adoption (by far).
That’s more than a quarter of US businesses (in Ramp’s data) purchasing something from OpenAI—that number was ~15% only 6 months ago.
From a revenue growth standpoint, Anthropic and xAI, interestingly enough, are growing quickly off a small(er) base:
Grok/xAI grew almost ~700% with the release of Grok 3, and it’s kept pace with DeepSeek.
Google saw negative growth for some reason. That won’t inspire confidence.
For what it’s worth, by token usage, Google appears to be no worse off than before, albeit a similar-sized slice of a larger pie:
